Despite having to endure a weather-delayed tournament, the RBC Heritage 2024 unfolded seamlessly at the Harbour Town Golf Links with world number one Scottie Scheffler claiming the coveted title. Coming off the heels of his resounding success at The Masters, he once again showcased his elite level of play.
In the final round, he maintained a lead and held a 1-shot advantage over the nearest competitor. Despite Wyndham Clark's efforts with 5 birdies and 1 eagle on the front nine, Scheffler confidently recorded an eagle at the 2nd hole, adding another birdie at the 5th to extend his lead to 3 shots. Moving to the back nine, the 27-year-old golfer further widened the gap to 4 strokes with an excellent birdie at the 13th par 4, before pausing play due to weather conditions. On Monday morning, he concluded the tournament with a bogey on the 18th hole, finishing with a total score of (-19) to clinch the RBC Heritage 2024 title.

The string of successes has further solidified Scottie Scheffler's position as the world number one. He has now spent 29 consecutive weeks at the top of the OWGR rankings.
